To be wiser

Sometimes, people come to me and complain about what they're doing; a job, an assignment, or a test preparation. I always try to tell them: Don't make it a job.

Yeah.. We have to be responsible for our own things instead of work.
Every task that WHO gives you, is a step forword dreams.

"When life gives you lemon, make lemonade."
"Jeff gives you assignment, __________________."

I believe that most of us would rather write a love letter than do it as a task, right?
Think everything in a positive attitude, and you'll feel fabulous about the world.
When you want to complain about something or a person, think about what they've done for you.

If you couldn't think of anything good, then ask others for suggestion instead of bothering others to listen to you whine. Either your friends or an acquaitance can both helop you.

Hmmmm.... I'm optimistic enough. I wish I could pass the positive energy to you.
Don't live your life so hard, okay? Call me anytime when you want to whine.
I was the one, and I just got through.

Response (11/4)

#1 According to the website, the standard penalty for a first-time violation of the Honor Code is a one-quarter suspension and 40 hours of community service. If the student is in his/her final quarter of enrollment the standard practice is to convert the one-quarter suspension into a two-quarter delay in the conferral of the degree.

#2 The six possible punishments are disciplinary warning, reprimand, restitution, disciplinary probation, suspension and dismissal.

#3.

Plagiarizing Pitts' Columns Gets a Georgia Newspaper Editor Fired
Chris Cecil, associate managing editor of a Georgia newspaper, was fired for plagiarizing at least eight columns by Miami Herald/Tribune Media Services commentator Leonard Pitts Jr.

A CNN reporter fired for plagiarism
A reporter for CNNfn Interactive was fired over an investing story that resembled a Wall Street Journal personal finance column.

I don't agree with the punishment in those cases. In my opinion, everyone has the right of going to school for educating, and I think the penalities shouldn't include forbiddng students' right of learning at school. Therefore, one-quarter suspension doesn't make sense to me. Nevertheless, I think the punishments are so human that they can't really realize how serious the problems are. (Am I too serious?)

Treasure

I know it's been a totally different life since the moment I was given out.

I can't deny the truth that some of my friends were born with silver spoons, and most of them couldt whethe have fun everyday and worry abour their hair is too short or clothes are out of fashion. Actually I don't care about those appearance things but the chances they could have got before I was born.
Ummm... I envy them sometimes; sigh for myself always.

I'm the one who likes to compete with others so that I can prove the only ability I have; prove that I'm at least better than other people in one area.
But somehow I feel myslef lower than those who have more chances than I do.

Hey! I sigh, but I'm still striving for chances that I gain myself. I believe that chances will become treasure through the hard-working and the efforts.

Well... Did I make myself understood?

Dazzles

Being alone in the dark, and finding the way out of the chasm

To bloom simply for those can reveal the spectacular within a minor creation

If there isn't; applaud for your own

Life is a bunch of flowers.

Never could we tell which one is nearly rotten.

Neither would we know the one sends sweet odor has the finest quality inward

Traps have been set on each pace you step on.

Dancing like a fairy or trudging as an actuary ...

It depends on you.

Psychology

People with patience could get the rewards.

After weeks of considering, I decided to change the Education issues to Psychology.
Since Education issues are too serious for me, and it takes a long time to search and learn something new. As far as I'm concerned, I haven't had the ability to do what I'm not familiar with. But I suppose that both of them are corresponding in somewhere.

Well, I've done an assignment about Video Games. And I chose a topic that didn't seem to relate to video games. It's about Otaku. And I think it relates to psychology to a certain extent.

Otaku is a Japanese term for those who are enthusiastic about certain things. For recent years, it has been defined as a person who sits at computer desk all day long, and looks like a pervert lingering around public areas or parks. The average ages of Otaku range from 10 to 40, and even younger. Most of them while away their time doing nothing but playing PC games instead. Temptations for playing video games are poisons. One of them is to escape from the reality. Other reasons are fulfilling the dreams that can't be carried out, and doing things that is guilty or is not allowed in the view of society.

The urgent problem is that the logic of games is set in certain types, which means Otaku are exposed to the same old thoughts in it. It's terrible for human beings to think and live in the same circle. Furthermore, the relationship of the community is getting worse since most of the Otaku will turn down friends' invitations, or even their friends will stay and build up a virtual empire together on the screen; eventually, the friendship becomes void and meaningless.

The authorities should focus on the Otaku issue since teenagers are the great powers for the community, and the government should take measures to prevent these new pillars from rotting. The world is becoming far more convenient than ten years ago, and it's a new epoch of super many people being unemployed. To improve the competitive advantage of our own, perhaps we'd better manage to brainstorm every moment when meeting a new problem, rather than surrendering to the reality and spoiling ourselves as an Otaku does. Being an Otaku is not that bad, but it goes against the meaning of why individuals exist on earth. After all, we are the kind of animals that have our own thoughts. Keep standing out the priceless spirit within, and don't waste the gift from God.

Umm... It takes patience to read the paragraphs.
Okay, here is a reward. Let's take a short quiz.

Imagine that today's your birthday. You receive lots of birthday cards.
You read all of them and "WOW!".
There was a suprising person who sent the card to you. Who was that surprising person?
And you opened all the presents that you got today.
WOW! The biggest one. Who gave it to you?

I'm sorry for the poor description of the game.
But I guess you can understand what I wanna say.
And we'll see the answer next time at the end of another article. :P

Memories are coming back

A deep emotional relationship between a father and a daughter.

An exaggerating facial expression on an innocent girl's face.

Wondering if there is a chance to become a top model someday.
Or being covers of fashion magazines.
Surrounded with love.

Born to be a performer.

Memories are coming back.
I've never thought that I could be so different than before.
While feeling down at noon, I went upstairs to get some CDs; in the meanwhile, I found the old albums, and then I stopped to retrospect these memories.
Sometimes we can forget what others just do to us by thinking of other things. Exactly, the mood had just changed while the sweet time I fell in the albums.
Yeah...
Life is full of sweet things, yet it depends on what you look forward to it.

Surprise

So many years have gone by, I used to be the one who helps others' dreams come true, and I never thought of there would be a person does the same thing to me oneday. Never wish for miracle; it will happen on time.

A few months ago, I'd helped one of my friends in Acappella club rehearsing songs for some performances. During that time, I told him I'd like to rehearse an old song called "Dynamite". However, it's too hard for him and other members to do the bass part and chorus part. We ended the notion.

After finishing some important performances, I don't have much time to rehearse with them. Actually, I was not gonna join the club in the first place, and I did those rehearsal for friends.
Okay, get to the point. I've never heard of anyone remembers my words and wants to fulfill it for me. He, Justin, told me "I will complete the song!" last night. Hooooohh! Great! That's heart-warming.

No matter he does this for me, or for extra advantages he might get in the future; I appreciate for his help. And I'm looking forward to the performance.

This is the performance for new comers.
