The first experience of a speech

It was an exciting day! I had my first speech this morning, and everything was out of control. The fonts went to wrong places since there wasn't the same font on the school computer, and I started to talk nonsense out of my plan. Man proposes and god disposes.

I should have thought of these problems, and actually I've thought of these before going to school. Apparently, hesitation makes hesitation. I didn't put the fonts in my USB drive. How foolish I was! And I was doomed to fail and feel embarrassed in the class and my first speech show. Sigh.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

However, I did enjoy my speech though I screw it up by having no idea what to do on the stage. This situation is similar to the first time I was singing in front of the audience. Blank, blank, and nothing left. Practice makes perfect! I did a lot nice performances after those embarrassed experiences.

I think this is the reason I chose this class. I'm here to learn, not here to be perfect all the time. As long as I went back to my seat, I realized that I just challenge myself by making mistakes. How optimistic I am! :P

Yeah, I feel better now. Gotta go to the class for my kids. Hey yo!

Though I've been breaking the contract for a week, believe me, I'll soonly catch up on them!!! I have a lot stories to be told, but I haven't had a time to complete. Wait for two days and they'wll come up.

  1. The ironic psrt is that most people wouldn't have noticed a lot of the stuff with the fonts if you wouldn't have mentioned it and got flustered. Some of the misplaced letters were kind of funny, but overall I don't think the PP problems were that big of a deal.

Next time though if you make a mistake or if something goes wrong, it's better to just forge ahead and get through it. Don't draw attention to it too much and no one will mind.
